A great experience for anyone interested in Bees, or considering taking up Beekeeping. You will learn in a small group all about this cherished insect, getting the opportunity to see inside a working Beehive. Taking home; a certificate, a pound of honey, a bee related gift and notes about the honey bee. |

An informal day learning about the Honey Bees, and how you can help. Try a sample of honey and take home a 1lb (454g) jar of local honey, along with a honey gift, pack of bee-friendly seeds and notes from the day. Refreshments will be provided, including a buffet lunch and a ‘honey-themed’ cake. Parking is available at the entrance to our farm and our training room is just short walk down our track. What To Bring:Just bring yourself, confirmation of your booking, a notebook and any questions you may have, along with a beesuit, gloves and wellies. A bee-suit will be provided. If you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance. Where the bees and the weather allow, this day will include an inspection of a hive. Please arrive at 9.15 for a prompt 9.30 start. |

Mike has been a Beekeeper since 1972 and has attained many BBKA modules. He currently manages 4 apiaries, each with between 5 and 8 colonies. |
