Jubilee Celebrations
and opening times

Why not join us tomorrow (Friday) for a free cup of tea and biscuit? Our shop will be open as usual from 10am until 4pm and we are offering all customers a free cup of tea, coffee and biscuits. You are welcome to take a break, stop and relax for a while, say hello to the pigs and chickens.

Our shop will be closed on Sunday, please see full opening times below.

Our pigs have arrived...

Two young pigs arrived at Mantel Farm yesterday and are already enjoying foraging around in the new pen... After a short sleep in the straw in the trailer they wandered very casually into their new pen... watch our short video.

If you are visiting on a shop day you're very welcome to pop into the Bee Garden and say hello to them over the fence. We will be running a Pig Keeping course on Saturday 6 August and for more details follow the link below.

Thursday 2nd: Our shop is closed but we will be out and about in our electric van, so book a delivery soon.

Friday 3rd: Our shop is open 10am to 4pm, join us for free tea and biscuits.

Saturday 4th: Our shop is closed.

Sunday 5th: Our shop is closed.

Cochins, Silkies and Polish hens for sale...Looking for something a little special?... Come and have a look at our flocks of pure breed poultry, these lovely flocks of hens give so much pleasure in any garden, the 'posh-girls' of the poultry world! they may not lay as many eggs as their hybrid sisters but make fantastic birds for a back garden coop.

S of E Show details...

South of England Show...

We are looking forward to being at the South of England Show on the 10th 11th and 12th June...

Come along and visit our stand where you can chat to us about Garden Farming... Bertie will be joining us to help with small scale solar-setups, Charlotte will be there to discuss the range of Smallholder feeds and Ken and Frank will join us to talk about kitchen gardening. Not forgetting Jason, Josh and Dan who are always happy to help with your Chicken and Beekeeping.
